Job Description

Role SummaryJoin our team as an In-Room Dining Server and become one of the authors of our story.  As part of the Wildflower Farms family, you will serve the needs of the business and our guests by delivering and serving In-room meals to guests using excellent customer service skills. 


Core Responsibilities
As an In-Room Dining Server, you will be responsible for serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring an outstanding and memorable in room dining experience for each guest:

  • Taking room service orders over the telephone following in-room dining phone procedures and relaying all orders to the culinary team.
  • Carrying silverware, linen and food on trays or using serving cars/vehicles to transport orders to rooms. 
  • Setting up tables and serving food/beverages.
  • Answering questions regarding room service and responding to requests for additional food or beverage service. 
  • Collecting dishes on trays, tables or serving carts and removing from rooms any plates, glasses and unused items.
  • Assisting the culinary team with garnishing dishes prior to serving, as necessary.
  • Complying with Auberge F&B standards for in-room dining procedures.
  • Contributing to improving the F&B sales revenues by being knowledgeable about all menu items.
  • Restocking and tracking mini bar consumption.
  • Delivering Food & Beverage amenities to cabins.
  • Using safe food handling procedures and maintaining a safe working environment by using proper food-handling skills and food safety guidelines

Rate: $17/hr +tips 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year experience in customer service or the foodservice/hospitality industry.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirements for food and alcohol service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
  • Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
  • Ability to lift 30lbs
