Job Description

Step into the realm of culinary excellence as a key player in our kitchen brigade!
The ideal candidate will be friendly, devoted, curious, and hard working.
We are looking for individuals who are confident that they will become an integral
member of a team that values hard work and brings detail and care to every part of their
work day, as we strive for excellence.

  • Follow recipes, portion controls, pars, and presentation specifics as set by kitchen management.
  • Set up work station according to established expectations.
  • Assess production lists and par levels, and communicate plan with MOD to execute prep tasks from start to finish. 
  • Work collaboratively with BOH staff and FOH staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas.
  • Participate in deep cleaning of BOH work areas, including and not limited to refrigeration, cooking equipment, and prep areas.
  • Participate in receiving and packing of deliveries in a timely fashion, while reporting discrepancies prior to driver exiting the property.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year Culinary experience
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
  • General knife handling, food safety & sanitation knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of food handling and cookery.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced and high energy environment
  • High volume restaurant experience preferred
  • Able to take constructive criticism, learn quickly and constantly improve
  • Able to follow recipes without direct supervision
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues
  • Strong time management skills and able to execute dishes consistently and effectively.
  • Full availability (including weekends)
