Job Description
Join our team as the Wellbeing Manager and become one of the authors of our story. In this position, you will be serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our team members by acting as an ambassador of our ENRICH values and to the service standards of Halehouse - Stanly Ranch's Wellness Center.
The Wellbeing Manager is accountable for a smooth flow of business in the Spa. They will provide resort & spa guests with operational excellence to increase sales and encourage repeat business. The Wellbeing Manager will maintain this level of excellence by hiring, training and managing the most qualified spa team members. They will develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure a quality of working environment for all Halehouse team members as outlined in the standard developed by Auberge, Stanly Ranch and the Wellbeing leadership.
Core Responsibilities for this position are:
Maintain and champion the Auberge Collection, Stanly Ranch and Halehouse culture
Be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers, and team members
Handle guest complaints or problems immediately, ensuring guest satisfaction, internal and external follow up.
Translate errors and guest feedback into operational learning and processes.
Ensure all buildings (Fieldhouse, Springhouse and Locker Rooms) are prepared for proper opening and closing each day.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of and orderliness of the all the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order
Must be the initial and complete source of information regarding what is available at the Spa and all procedures to ensure guest comfort (i.e., treatments, equipment, products and retail items)
Support the Director of Wellbeing with all administrative functions of Halehouse.
Participate in and support resort and company efforts towards sustainability and environmental initiatives of the Auberge brand.
Periodically assist with front of house operations on an as needed basis (example: arrivals/checkouts,tours)
Responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies for all guest amenities, spa wide.
Be thoroughly familiar with and provide instructions on Spa Booking/POS systems as well all resort IT platforms
Working closely with Director of Wellbeing with inventories and cost control regarding retail
Manage and support front desk, spa attendants and pool team members
Train and assist in the development of spa team members as necessary
Additional duties assigned by the Director of Wellbeing

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Experience at a luxury hospitality property
Minimum 3-year experience in a spa or related field.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays, etc.
Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of team members, and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
Must have experience in a managing team
Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency in the English language.
Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information
Hygiene is key in this environment due to the proximity of working with guests
Knowledge of Opera PMS, Book-4-Time, Microsoft Office & Google Suite
Physical Demands
Frequent or occasional need to perform the following physical activities: reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting, and climbing. Have frequent need to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting property.
Constant need to perform the following physical activities: grasping, turning, finger dexterity.
Occasionally need to stand or stand for long periods of time.
Medium work- exerting up to 50lbs of force occasionally, and/or 25lbs of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Vision requirements: constant need to view small print. Frequent need to see small details and things clearly beyond arms’ reach.
Hearing requirements: constant need to speak on telephone and/or two-radio and/or through Google Meet as well respond to the general public and converse with staff, ability to hear fire alarms and emergency equipment.
