Job Description
The Kids Camp Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the various kid programs that are offered at the property. This Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring that our younger guests have adventure-based experiences and can enjoy the thrill of adventure, art and other activities that align with our one of a kind experiences.
- Ensure health & safety of all children that attend any of our kid programs and camps
- Facilitate children's experiences with a focus on learning, adventure, and of course fun!
- Create exceptional children's experiences, and work collaboratively with various departments and local 3rd party vendors.
- Prepare, execute adventures, create activities and art experiences for our junior explorers
- Ensure security awareness throughout the property, reporting incidents to the manager on duty when warranted.
- Ensure all special requests are met and all needs are anticipated.
- Clean and take care of all working equipment used.
- Report any damage or loss in public areas immediately after being found.
- Utilize all technology and systems provided by the property to update status, complete requests, and add notes.
Qualifications
- A genuine + authentic affinity for interacting meaningfully and positively with children + parents.
- Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy, cooperativeness and work with minimum supervision.
- Experience working with children
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of guest information and designated hotel data.
- Work collaboratively to create exceptional children’s experiences.
- Ability to plan ahead and use excellent communication skills to collaborate between departments.
- Ability to hike, ride horses, be active and play outside games.
- Considered applicants must be able to pass a full background check.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification required
