Job Description
The base salary range for this position is $65k - $72k.
This is an Associate Sales Manager position, for the Group Segment. Responsible for managing group leads generated by the social and small group (under 20 rooms on peak) market segment. This position will report to the Director of Sales.
- Support Mauna Lani’s revenue goals by managing group leads for the Social and Small Meetings (under 20 rooms on peak) markets.
- Build effective relationships with group accounts and contacts that support the hotel’s strategy.
- Participate and present business opportunities in Daily RevMax meetings.
- Create custom proposals and sales agreements.
- Curate and execute property site tours.
- Support and participate in daily calls with Sales Managers as needed.
- Support and participate in accurate reporting as requested by Director of Sales.
- Accurately maintain and build Delphi / Salesforce database of clients.
- Abide by the policies and procedures of Mauna Lani and Auberge Resorts.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards of sales service.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor and to conduct personal behavior in a mature and professional business manner while representing the company.
- Work flexible days and hours.
- Phone calls, emails and requests are to be returned the same day and RFP’s have a 24 hour response time.
- Maintain customer, trade, industry and employee relations.
- Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned.
Qualifications
- Four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in a related position in luxury hotel sales environment.
- Demonstrated record of driving sales revenues in luxury hotel environment.
- Prior experience working in a sales office setting.
- Prior experience working with professional organizations that support group and leisure / Transient.
