Job Description

The base salary range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 hourly plus commission.

Be the author of an inspiring health and wellness adventure for our best in class Spa & Fitness centers.  Our Wellness Attendant will provide our spa guests with a seamless arrival and departure experience.  He or she will provide information on all inquiries, coordinate guest requests/appointments and maintain the cleanliness of the area.  This role is the face of our spa and sets the tone for an exceptional experience.  The successful candidate will be warm, welcoming, passionate about wellness, and possess excellent customer service skills.

  • Greet all guests with Aloha and provide personal, professional service, making sure the guests feel welcome and secure.
  • Ability to provide accurate information on current spa offerings, recommending and upselling treatments and services naturally based on the guest’s needs and desires.
  • Assist guests with spa reservations, changes and cancellations via phone, email and in person.
  • Opening and closing procedures checklists.
  • Assist in all areas of daily Spa operation.
  • Handle all billing and payments for spa services and retail transactions.
  • Knowledgeable on hotel facilities and services, including hours of operation for all departments.
  • Check-in guests, provide a detailed tour of the locker room facilities and issue spa lockers to those enjoying spa treatments.
  • Check-in guests and provide a detailed tour of the fitness facilities.
  • Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the spa desk, relaxation area, locker rooms and fitness facilities at all times.
  • Ensure relaxation area, men’s and women’s locker rooms (including restrooms and showers) and fitness facilities are fully stocked with guest supplies and amenities at all times.
  • Participate in training sessions, communications and planning meetings.
  • Possesses ownership when handling guest complaints and concerns and shows initiative in rectifying the situation.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Must secure CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 60 days of initial employment.
  • Desired background in hospitality, spa and wellness, customer service, administrative and sales, office management and / or guest relations.
