Job Description
The base salary range for this position is $92K - $115K.
A senior leader and active member of the team providing support to the events team and managing luxury catering and events. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be innovative, creative, and results-driven with a desire to exceed customer expectations. Focused on supporting the event services team and overseeing Mauna Lani’s group business for the hotel. Flexibility and experience to support in the social catering sales and services on occasion as needed to support the team. Works in partnership with the Director of Catering and Events to achieve departmental goals and also assist in implementing new and updating existing SOPs. Exceptional business acumen in developing tools and concepts to maximize revenue generation. Responsible for monthly reporting in lead analysis, PACE, and productivity. Act as the primary contact for all advance planning, set up, event orchestration, and post-departure follow-up for each program. Requires consistent attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills, as well as effective verbal and written communication capabilities. Must be adaptable and able to work across all departments to detail each event and ensure flawless execution.
Qualifications
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions. High School Diploma preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
