Job Description

Become the backbone of our dining experience as a  Back Server / Server Assistant, where your attentiveness and teamwork will elevate every guest's visit. Supporting our service team, you'll ensure smooth operations, anticipate needs, and create memorable moments for patrons, leaving a lasting impression of exceptional hospitality.

  • Engage with guests regarding needs and satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service
  • Comply with all Forbes standards consistently working towards elevating the guest experience
  • Contribute to improving and enhancing the guest experience through knowledge of all  menu items and heart-felt guest engagement
  • Operate, maintain, and properly clean all restaurant service-related equipment and dining areas, ensuring the restaurant is organized and well-presented at all times
  • Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to food safety guidelines
  • Provide safe and responsible beverage service, as per Federal and State regulations, preventing any personal or company risk related to alcohol service
  • Prepares necessary silverware and service items for each course, allowing for seamless transitions between multi-course menu offerings
  • Assists dining room team members in delivering food to guests quickly and efficiently, ensuring the highest quality possible
  • Assist Captain Server with guest-related service needs whenever necessary to ensure no gaps in service or food and beverage replenishments
  • Prepare all service-related equipment and execute service for Canapé and Amuse courses
  • Communicate with the Server Captain regarding adherence to any special requests, occasions, or dietary restrictions
  • Performs all other service-related duties outlined by management
  • Pay Range is $25 - $35 / hour (this includes the hourly rate + tips and is an estimate based on business

Qualifications

  • Responsible Beverage Service Certification (can be obtained within 60 days of hire)
  • Food Handler's Certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in full-service, fine dining restaurant 
  • Must be able to stand and work 8-hour shifts
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
  • Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work on a fast-paced team
