Job Description

The base salary for this position is $20.60 hourly.

Join our Mauna Lani family as a retail Sales Specialist and express your passion for customer service excellence.  This individual will warmly greet and assist customers with their merchandise selections by providing accurate merchandise information. He/She will also be responsible for merchandise and store maintenance as well as money management. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, basic math and computer skills, be proficient in communication, creative, flexible and have an eye for detail.  Previous experience in a retail setting is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Welcome, approach and assist all customers with their individual needs and requests.
  • Provide support to each customer with his or her selections by sharing accurate and related merchandise information.
  • Assist customers in the fitting room.
  • Accurately ring merchandise at the POS terminal.
  • Gift-wrap and/or pack merchandise for shipping.
  • Answer all phone calls promptly and properly.
  • Check the selling floor daily for any restocking needs. Retrieve necessary merchandise and replenish the selling floor.
  • Maintain shop merchandising and housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Inform Manager/Buyer of any merchandise needs.
  • Process any damages and/or outgoing merchandise.
  • Count and maintain personally issued bank.
  • Maintain guest check-in/out reports. Run end of day reports.
  • Balance daily paperwork.
  • Accurately ring and process all transactions through the POS terminal.
  • Turn in all daily paperwork and deposits to appropriate personnel.
