Compensation: 21.50 /hr (paid bi-weekly)

Position Details: 

• Part Time is 1-2 days per week
• Full Time is 3-5 days per week
• 10-hour shifts typical
• Day shifts, start times vary

Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver:

• Safely operate company delivery vehicles (Mercedes Sprinter, Dodge ProMaster, Ford Transit), perform daily vehicle safety inspections. 
• Successfully handling and delivering packages on time. 
• Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations, walk, bend, climb stairs. 
• Adhere to all driving laws and company safety policies. 
• Use smart phone devices for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicating with supervisors and other team members. 
• Load and unload delivery vehicles
• Drive safely and efficiently to customer locations, following all traffic laws
• Deliver packages to customers in a professional and courteous manner

Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle

• You must be 21 years or older. 
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license, OR unexpired state-issued identification. 
• Authorized to work in the United States 
• Must successfully pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening (which includes pre-employment testing for marijuana/THC) 
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing/communication skills. 
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. 
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position). The company will conduct ongoing MVR checks on vehicular accidents, driving violations, and drivers’ status in compliance with Federal and State law. 
• Physically fit to meet delivery demands. 
• Familiarity with Texas driving laws and safety procedures. 
• Able to work independently and efficiently under pressure. 
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages up to 50lbs
• Ability to deliver in all weather conditions
