In order to work effectively with our US based teams and have a good overlap we require our prospective teammates to be comfortable working from 2PM IST to 12-1 AM IST allowing for appropriate meal and transport breaks. After the pandemic when offices are once again safe to work from, we will prefer all our employees to work from our Bangalore offices to have effective collaboration.

Tango’s system implementation and support follows the process of requirements, design, configure/ build, test and remediate, deploy, and support. Client support is offered to Tango’s global clients 24/7. The Services and Support teams in the Bangalore office work directly with Tango’s US based teams and with clients across the globe. 

Lease accounting standards are changing, and our company offers solutions that assist companies with that change. The candidate will become part of the accounting team group of subject matter experts (SME). As such, the candidate will be expected to assist the services team with implementing the Tango Lease Administration SaaS product as well as assist the support team with resolving live client issues and concerns. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies with a global reach.

As an accounting subject matter expert, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

- Tango Services - Accounting

• Configuration - Clients will have questions about how to achieve accounting treatments in Tango.  As a SME you will have to carefully tread the line between accounting consulting and explaining how Tango technology can assist the client to achieve their desired accounting result.  Then you will advise the implementation team as to how to configure Tango in order to assist the client in achieving that result.
• Business Process Definition – With new accounting and new systems, clients will struggle to realize how business processes may need to change, or even the need for new business processes.  You will help clients realize the gaps in their accounting business process and provide guidance about how to develop a process that works with Tango.
• Reporting - Clients sometimes have reporting requirements that are specific to their own accounting needs.  You will help gather the requirements of their reporting needs and work with technical leads and report writers to create reports that meet their needs.  Where multiple reports can be used to achieve the same effect, you will offer that as a solution first. 
• Integrations - Clients do accounting in a lot of different ways.  Their GL information is broken out in lot of different ways.  You will work with technical leads and with integration writers in order to send accounting information to the client so that their system can process it correctly.

- Tango Client Support - Accounting 

• General - Once the implementation is complete, the client will be live with using Tango’s lease system in order to both administer a lease and to account for those transactions.  You will assist support by answering client questions as to how to use the Tango system to resolve their difficulties. 
• User error - Identify when the client is not using the product according to design, either to Tango specifications in general, or according to their specific configuration / implementation and use of the system. 
• Identification of bugs – Identify when the system is not performing according to design with respect to accounting items; Tango system, integrations, reports, etc. 

          - Identify source of error

          - Propose solutions / calculation changes

• Requests for enhancements

          - Identify when the client is requesting an enhancement to the system

          - Describe requested enhancements

          - Possibly assist in detailed requirement gathering for the enhancement

• Regression testing – Understand lease accounting and be able to determine if all calculations in Tango are behaving as expected with regard to accounting standards

• The use of internal IP i.e. Excel models, for the generation of accounting schedules using amortization tables.
• Reviewing results of accounting schedules for internal and external validation
• Research accounting topics and become an expert in limited timeframes
