Experience showing adhering to Best practices to Standards is a plus.
• Should show proven experience in writing documents using UML, Use Case, User Stories, Activity Diagram, EPIC etc. Those without this experience will not be considered.
• Strong analytical and management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
• Proven experience in translating Business requirements into functional specifications • Transferring Business knowledge to technical team, which will also involve proper analysis, documentation and presentation.
• Collecting, understanding, and transmitting the business requirements for projects, and translating these into functional specifications and test plans. This includes specifications related to applications, integrations, data migration and reports
• Document workflows and results of business analysis and obtain sign-off from stakeholders on the specifications
• Improves system by studying current practices; designing modifications.
• Serve as the conduit between the customer and the software development team by crafting and proposing valid, compelling solutions that meet customer business requirements throughout the development lifecycle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Good command over English
• BA Certification is a plus and will be given preference.
Roles and Responsibilities
Minimum 3 to 6 years experience in Customs, Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Transportation Management / Freight Forwarding / Warehousing Domain Knowledge is Mandatory.
b. Customs domain experience is an advantage.
c. The candidate is expected to play the role of a BA for a web based product developed for Customs modernization.
d. The product is for Customs domain and has nearly 500+ processes and over 50 modules.
e. Candidate is expected to grasp the understanding of the product in a very short time and deliver the tasks as BA.
f. Candidate is expected to handle tough customers (from government) and should show lot of patience in dealing with them.
g. Candidate is expected to play the role of front facing representative during the various phases and until the delivery of the project for all aspects related to functional deliverables.
h. Candidate should work amicably with Senior QC team members who are already playing the role of BA for the product.
i. Should be bringing in best practices to work based on the previous experience as BA.
Should be very flexible in timings and expected to work on weekends and even late hours if required. Should be willing to travel onsite and stay for months if required.
