JOB TITLE DESCRIPTION
 
ICC requires Unified Communications consultancy services for deploying, maintaining and supporting the unified communication infrastructure and related telephony integrations.
 
REQUIRED PROFILE
 
The resource shall have strong implementation, support and troubleshooting experience in large operational environments of Skype for Business (On-premises and Online) as well as Microsoft Teams.
Experience in network infrastructure with specialization in IP/PBX, SBCs and VoIP with be a strong advantage.
 
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- Deploying and testing Enterprise Skype for Business configurations in multi-location environments with Edge servers, Directors, and hardware load balancers;
- Supporting and deploying Skype for Business Enterprise Voice, Cloud PBX, Cloud Connector Editions, including integration with ancillary systems such as telephony gateways and PBX systems;
- Implementing and managing Microsoft Teams, including Teams Direct Routing
- SIP Protocol;
- G.711 & H.323 Knowledge;
- Network management and troubleshooting tools such as Netmon, Wireshark, TCPDUMP etc.
- Configuration and administration of known VoIP Telephony System (i.e. SONUS, Audiocodes, Avaya, Polycom, Oracle ACME, Asterisk etc.).
 
Optional Technical Skills:
 
- Maintaining and administrating large ICT Infrastructures (i.e. switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers management).
 
SCOPE OF WORK
 
•         Support, maintain and optimize the deployed Microsoft Skype for Business on-premises, hybrid and online infrastructures;
•         Manage Skype for Business Online and Microsoft Teams Tenants;
•         Contribute to the deployment of Hybrid and On-prem Unified Communications solutions for ICC’s customers;
•         Deploy and maintain the existing SBC/SBA/CCE infrastructure consisting in AudioCodes/Sonus Voice Gateways, Survivable Branch Appliances and Cloud Phone System;
•         Resolve incidents, implement and participate on the problem resolutions;
•         Collaborate with other teams to implement service and system monitoring, alerting and reporting of the Skype for Business and Teams services;
•         Collaborate with other teams to define and develop documented procedures;
•         Stand-by services during weekends, official holidays and outside business hours as required.
 
The resource MUST have the following skills and experience:
 
•         A minimum of 5 years of experience working in Unified Communications, preferably in large environments;
•         Exposure to migration projects such as on-premise to cloud;
•         Good communication skills (oral and written communication);
•         Good experience in drafting technical documents;
•         Ability to work under pressure, with minimum supervision and a good level of proactiveness;
•         Ability to grasp complex concepts, logical and analytical approach to solving problems;
•         Good interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with offshore/nearshore teams and share knowledge;
•         Excellent knowledge of English (both written and oral).
 
The resource SHOULD have the following skills and experience:
 
•         Work experience in large international environments;
•         Ability to adapt to a continuously changing environment;
•         Ability to interact with customers, ability to assess and gather customer requirements and turn them into appropriate implementations;
•         Experience with service management (ITIL, ISO20000) and project management (PMI, Prince2) methodologies;
•         Self-driven and motivated to learn.
 
Desirable certifications:
•         Sfb/Teams, O365 Certifications
•         Windows Server Administration certification
•         Cisco CCNA and/or CCNP, SBCs
•         ITIL Service Management
•         PMI or Prince 2 Project management
•         ISO 20000 Certification
