Instrument Technician position available!
- Fast paced, teamwork, laboratory-based role with AsureQuality in Lower Hutt, Wellington
- Monday to Friday roster
- Permanent position
- Utilise your passion for environmental solutions, chemistry knowledge and hands on instrument experience.
The Opportunity
AsureQuality are looking for an instrument technician to help with operating our state-of-the-art instrument fleet
It is a fabulous opportunity for people to deepen their chemistry knowledge through hands-on operation of chromatography instrumentation. Full training is provided on the job, including quality compliance with ISO 17025 and Safety measures to ensure the job is done reliably and safely according to the Worksafe Act 2015.
AsureQuality is a fast-paced work environment requiring collaboration and team work. Our ideal candidates will have attention to detail, great communication skills, with previous experience in a similar highly regulated environment being a plus.

Qualifications
About you
To be successful in the role will require …
- A passion for science and environmental issues
- Hands on ability and a mechanical aptitude for problem solving
- Knowledge of chemistry principles and laboratory techniques
- Previous experience working in a fast paced, communicative environment
- Exemplary attention to detail and both written and verbal communication skills
- Pride in what you do, the quality of your work and a true team ethos
- A tertiary education in Chemistry or similar area is well regarded in this role.
- Prior experience with LC or GC instrumentation is advantageous
