Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Oversee the goods receipt process, including liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.
  • Coordinate the pick, pack, and dispatch of all orders, ensuring correct documentation and compliance with import/export regulations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through monthly cycle counts and stock takes and manage expiring stock.
  • Handle logistics for hazardous and dangerous goods, ensuring correct packaging and documentation.
  • Collaborate with 3rd Party Logistics providers to manage inventory and product deliveries.
  • Maintain SAP data integrity for logistics operations and complete month-end close processes.
  • Continuously improve logistics and warehousing processes to enhance efficiency.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or significant relevant industry experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within manufacturing or research laboratories.
  • Experience in inventory management, including working with 3rd Party Logistics service providers.
  • Strong knowledge of inbound/outbound material flow, transport logistics, and import/export processes.
  • Experience in handling hazardous and dangerous goods.
  • Proficient in SAP and advanced Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Forklift License and Dangerous Goods Certification are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills with a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

Warehousing, Logistics and Inventory knowledge with exposure to Import and Export Documentation.
