Job Description
Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Data Consulting, the Data Consultant will have a wide range of duties; all of which are in the spirit of ensuring customer success through the successful execution of the client data and onboarding. As part of Assent’s Data Consulting department, the Data Consultant will play an integral role in managing client data and decisions in the Assent Platform.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities
Participate in Implementation kickoff to set data best practices and data workshop requirements
Conduct data workshops;
Transform, reform, and adapt client data to meet best practices;
Conduct data consultation calls with account team members and clients;
Hold a “book” of assigned accounts - be responsible for knowledge related to these accounts
Ensure timely communication and responsiveness to external and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with other PS departments to continually improve and enhance processes
Submit tickets for assigned accounts;
Communicate directly with clients regarding progress, status, timelines, and questions;
Assist in Data Operations responsibilities when needed;
Responsible for all tasks in regards to data;
Communicate, track, and present KPIs/metrics, issues, and status to stakeholders;
Analyze, review, and report on client data using SQL data tools;
Consult client on best data practices
Being a power-user of Assent products;
Collaborate and work with DMT on custom tickets;
Be familiar with corporate security policies and follow the guidance set out by processes and procedures of Assent.

Qualifications
Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
We strongly value your talent, energy and passion. It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree/Higher diploma from recognized learning institution in Information Systems/Computer Science;
Minimum 3-4 years related work experience;
Great verbal and written communication skills, primarily in English, however proficiency in additional languages would be an asset;
Advanced Excel skills - able to leverage all Excel functions to analyze and report complex datasets;
Solid SQL skills, ability to update/retrieve data independently;
Experience in integrations and API
Excellent understanding of data management and analysis principles;
Computer proficiency using MS Office Suite and Google Applications, able to leverage functions to find efficiencies and improve productivity using defined tools;
Self-starter with effective time management skills with the ability to adhere to assigned deadlines and prioritize effectively;
Solutions-first attitude who is self-motivated to proactively engage with our clients to solve data puzzles;
You anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of others and are proactive about communicating;
You are poised, professional, and comfortable leading discussions with client decision-makers, end-users, and IT professionals;
You are proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and other office productivity tools.
