Big data Architect

Job Title: Principal Architect (Big data)

Experience: 10-15 years

Location: Chennai (SIPCOT).

The big data solutions architect is responsible for managing the full life-cycle of a Hadoop solution. This includes creating the requirements analysis, the platform selection, design of the technical architecture, design of the application design and development, testing, and deployment of the proposed solution.

We are looking for a senior solutions architect (overall experience of 15 years and above) with Big Data tools and Data Science methodologies. The ideal person should be an innovative solutions architect with strong experience in distributed computing as well as modern data intensive architectures. Any experiences with predictive/prespecriptive analytics, understanding of Natural Language Processing would be a plus.

He/she would be able to manage a team right from concept tp delivery - lead/build and initiate a software and data analytics products with a small team.

Responbilities and Pre- requisites:

•     Should be able to clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms;
•     document use cases, solutions and recommendations;
•    Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills;
•    Help program and project managers in the design, planning and governance of implementing projects of any kind; perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing the  solution;
•    Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, Must be a self-starter;
•    Should be able to work in teams, as a big data environment is developed in a team of employees with                    different disciplines;
•    Should be able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
