EMEA Sales Manager Smart Ticketing Home Based

Location: Home based with some EMEA travel
Salary: £doe + OTE and Car allowance
We are now looking for a Export Sales Manager to manage the EMEA new business development and account management activities for an international Smart Ticketing / Intelligent Transport Systems provider.
This role is split 50% new business and 50% account management and will entail both direct and distribution sales. Active accounts can be found in the Nordics, southern Europe, Middle East and South Africa. The role will be home based but will naturally involve a higher than average amount of travel.
Skills and Experience:
- Sales/Business Development experience, preferably within the Mass Public Transport / Intelligent Transport Systems / Smart Ticketing / Fare Collection /Integrated Software markets
- Experience of Customer Relationship Management and Retention
- Experience of completing client proposals/tenders, compiling complex proposals and ITTs, with a strong knowledge of commercial/contractual law
- A proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity, with Strong business and commercial acumen and strong analytical skills
- Proven ability to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment within B2B and B2G marketing environment
- Bringing your extensive experience of working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, candidates must be able to communicate with all areas of the company from senior stakeholders to the technical teams and their associated back-office support functions
- Possessing a blend of business and technical knowhow; you will have a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality, enjoying spending time in the market to understand problems and find innovative solutions for the broader market and industry sector
