The Sr. Data Analyst manages a small team of Data Analysts in conducting quantitative modeling, and other data-driven projects, working closely with the COO. The team is ultimately responsible for all managerial reporting across the firm (including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Client Service) and to Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
Drive Senior Leader communications, proactively assessing new opportunities to data-driven solutions.
Lead the transformation of business objectives into data and analytics solutions using appropriate data engineering, analytics, visualization & dashboard applications.
Design and execute data engineering and analytics solutions; explore, model, mine, and experiment with data to answer critical business issues.
Use advanced data visualization techniques to generate and communicate insights.
Drive the firm’s data strategy and master data in collaboration with Technology partners.
Managing the reporting database environment and reports.
Communicate with co-owners regarding adherence to established business processes.
Processing confidential data and information according to guidelines.
Manage the development and publishing of internal reports from SQL database and Salesforce.
Support the analytical needs of the organization as needed.
Construct analysis and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, and organizational changes.
Working knowledge of data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
Able to employee machine learning principles to access and process data.
Providing technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
Develops and leads Data Analyst team, providing direction and technical support.
Perform performance reviews and help mentor and form career development plans.
Prepares, recommends and oversees development of operating and personnel budgets. Monitors spending for adherence to budget plans develop and recommend variances.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in disciplines such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Finance.
3-5 years of work experience as a data analyst or in related field.
Advanced data modeling experience and Excel skills.
Ability to analyze large databases and data sets to provide analytical data solutions.
Familiarity with Salesforce, Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), and PowerPoint
Excellent oral and written communication skills a must.
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
Organized and structured approach to work with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to exercise independent, mature judgment, prioritize tasks & maintain confidentiality required.
Proven ability to work in high pressure environment with deadlines.
