Job Description
The Assistant Ticket Manager supports the daily operations of the Mountain Sales department with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional guest experience and driving sales. This role works closely with the Ticket Office Manager to ensure seamless ticketing and sales transactions, efficient workflows, and consistent service across all guest touchpoints. The Assistant Ticket Manager also assists in training and coaching staff to meet performance goals and consistently deliver the high level of service expected at Aspen Snowmass. This position reports to the Ticket Office Manager.

- The budgeted salary range for this position is $61,002 - 70,152. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience; all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus.
Essential Job Functions / Key Job Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of the Mountain Sales department to ensure a seamless, guest-focused sales experience
- Lead and manage front-line staff, adjusting to business levels, delegating effectively, and providing coaching and performance feedback including seasonal evaluations and succession planning
- Provide on-the-ground support for guest interactions, resolving complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, and communication for office staff
- Train staff on sales techniques, product knowledge, guest service best practices, resort systems, and current events, while developing and maintaining up-to-date training materials
- Promote and sell lift access products, activity tickets, lessons, rentals, and related services with a focus on upselling and maximizing revenue
- Book private lessons and reservation-based products, ensuring smooth and accurate transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-supplied office environment
- Build strong relationships across departments to support collaboration and guest satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a guest service or sales environment required
- Proven experience managing small teams, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management preferred
- Proven track record of driving sales and delivering exceptional guest service preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proven experience handling cash transactions accurately and securely while maintaining a positive guest experience in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced computer skills, including efficient typing and the ability to navigate multiple software platforms simultaneously to support smooth sales operations
- Familiarity with Resort Technology Partners (RTP) software preferred to ensure efficient ticketing and maximize sales opportunities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to enhance both operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities with a calm, solution-oriented approach to resolve guest concerns and sales challenges promptly
- Ability to identify and capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities to drive revenue while enhancing guest satisfaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage guests, collaborate with team members, and coordinate with other departments
- Skills in motivating and guiding a team to consistently deliver exceptional service and meet or exceed sales goals
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond effectively to changing business demands and guest needs in a seasonal, fast-paced environment
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, improving communication and creating a welcoming environment for a diverse guest population
Additional Information
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions, however, some exposure to outdoor elements and or walking on slippery/uneven surfaces may be required
- Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
