Job Description
Position Summary
The Auditing Lead- Seasonal position is responsible for supporting all aspects of revenue accounting for all verticals of operations, including the control of deposits, reconciliation of credit cards and daily sales audits. This includes sales for lift, ski school, rental/retail, restaurants, online store, parking, guest services, and kiosks. This position reports to the Auditing Manager.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities
- Process daily revenue reports and reconcile cash transactions.
- Work effectively with internal departments to ensure revenue accounting controls.
- Care for external and internal customer calls with efficient and accurate information regarding questions in relation to transactions.
- Coordinate between all revenue generating departments and credit card processors.
- Record and monitor daily credit card and gift card transactions. Research variances.
- Manage fraud prevention and research chargebacks.
- Manage and reconcile internal cash banks.
- Back-up for the safe delivery of report envelopes to auditing and deposits to bank.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience Requirements
- High school diploma required
- College degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient knowledge of auditing standards and methodologies
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office Suite
- Proficient knowledge in Excel
- Proficient in general website navigation
- Knowledge of relevant laws and ethical standards related to auditing
- Knowledge of point of sales systems
- Excellent complex problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Experience with credit card processors and gateways
- Ability to work independently and problem solve
- Ability to analyze data
- Ability to handle complex audit challenges
- Ability to detect small discrepancies or irregularities
- Ability to interpret audit findings and draw conclusions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Information
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements.
- No adverse or hazardous conditions.
- Not required, but preferred to be able to lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
