Job Description
Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk assists the Accounts Payable team in all daily aspects of Accounts Payable duties including data entry, vendor management, and invoice evaluation.

Essential Job Functions
- Evaluate and set new vendors up within systems
- Assist in annual 1099 preparation
- Help with invoice processing
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments on joint projects
- Reconcile monthly statements
- Contact vendors for missing information or to update information
- Exercise invoice review within AP Automation software and JDE Processing
- Maintain AP filing systems both electronically and in physical folders
- Assist in payment processing and check
- Sort and process daily mail and email correspondence
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word required
- Oracle Enterprise (JDE) experience preferred
- Experience in an office setting preferred

Supervision given and received
Supervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities
Supervision Received: Works under general supervision of the Accounts Payable Manager. Receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisor’s directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice and assistance available as needed. Work is reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins.
Work Environment and physical demands
- Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
- No adverse or hazardous conditions
- Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
