Job Description
Terrain Park Worker participates in the daily operation and maintenance of the terrain parks and halfpipe. In addition to setting up and breaking down features for events, Terrain Park Worker also encourages and maintains outstanding guest relations with all park users.

Essential Job Functions
- Daily maintenance including raking, shoveling, salting and setting up/breaking down banners, flags, signage, fencing, etc.
- Inspect features daily
- Tests features as directed by park management
- Reports guest injuries to ski patrol and assist at accident scene
- Operate salt monkey and snowmobile if scheduled
- Educates park users and promotes terrain park etiquette
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Fluent in English required; some Spanish helpful
- Working knowledge of park layout/design and park event experience preferred
- Basic familiarity with Google Sketch Up and able to implement creative designs into plans
- Successful completion of ASC snowmobile licensing training preferred
- Successful completion of ASC chainsaw certification preferred
- First Aid certification preferred

Supervision Given and Received:
Supervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Supervision Received: Works under direct supervision of Terrain Park Supervisors and Managers. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
