Job Description

The Guest Service Supervisor manages, trains, and supports the guest service team. They will also help drive guests to and from different locations and give guests suggestions on activities when needed.

Essential Job Functions
•    Train staff on driving techniques, professionalism, and other standard procedures
•    Assist front desk supervisor in cross training employees when needed 
•    Keep track of guest experience and number of drives throughout the day 
•    Know about all daily hotel functions, locations, and times for appropriate guest direction
•    Pick up and deliver guests to various local locations when needed 
•    Drive safely at all times
•    Follow up with all incident reports immediately
•    Familiarize guests with points of interest, restaurants, activities, and hotel facilities while transporting guests 
•    Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

•    Must be over 18 years of age 
•    A valid driver’s license is required 
•    High School Diploma or high school equivalent preferred 
•    3 years of guest / customer service experience preferred 
•    2 years of management experience preferred

Supervision Given and Received
Given: Exercises direct supervision over guest service staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, frequent and detailed review of work, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Received: Works under general supervision of Front Office Manager. Receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisor’s directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice and assistance available as needed. Work is reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins.

Work Environment and physical demands 
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, see, hear, stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
Regularly work/drive in adverse weather conditions.  Frequently drive in bright sunlight and at night. Exposure to noises that cause distraction and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces. Must be able to constantly lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance.
