The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely operating an Aspen Skiing Co. shuttle bus to transport employees and guests between locations throughout the four-mountains and surrounding area.

Essential Job Functions

• Safely drive the shuttle over specified routes or to specific destinations in a timely manner while adhering to the posted schedule and local traffic regulations
• Greet and engage employees and guests offering information about the resort including snow conditions, grooming reports, trail maps and other activities
• Maintain the shuttle by sweeping floors, removing snow, cleaning windows, checking/refilling fluids, washing bus and emptying trash
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical problems
• Maintain daily ridership log and submit on a daily basis
• Assist guests with loading and unloading equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Experience driving shuttles in winter driving conditions
• Experience in the customer service industry
• General knowledge of the resort and area
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Prior experience driving a 14+ passenger shuttle preferred

Supervision Given and Received
Supervision given: This Position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Supervision received: Works under direct supervision of Guest Services Manager.  Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend or be on your feet for extended periods of time  
Regularly work in wet, cold, hot conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces. Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs individually or with assistance.
