Job Description

Summary  
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and executing digital marketing strategies and tactics overseeing, but not limited to executing email marketing, e-commerce content, and paid media for ASPENX. This role gathers data to function as the ‘voice’ of the consumer within the marketing team, providing information on digital experience gaps in order to innovate and improve our digital touchpoints and increase online conversation rates. The role will also lead and implement strategy across our customer journeys, email marketing functions, maintaining deliveries according to the editorial calendar and further refining our CRM.  

This role is open to remote candidates who are based in the following states: CO, NY, GA, ID, CA, FL, CT, TX, HI, IL, WV.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $64,500- $84,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget, experience, and the candidate’s state of residence.  All of our salaried roles are eligible for bonus. 

Essential Job Functions 

  • Lead strategy and implementation across email, paid media, and website content for ASPENX 
  • Manage all website updates, including content updates & image updates as well as seasonal updates for the ASPENX product assortment 
  • Support and contribute subject matter expertise for ongoing website development and improvements 
  • Manage the ongoing Search Engine Optimization and SEO roadmap tasks and vendor relationship 
  • Manage the ASPENX.com platform, working directly with the IT product manager and content stakeholders 
  • Manage all website updates for seasonal changes across digital platforms across rental, retail, and experiences set up for rental products 
  • Manage incoming questions from customers on Shopify 
  • Create comprehensive on-site performance and ecommerce monthly reports, implement cohesive cross-platform tracking, including site readiness of product assortment and content
  • Report and analyze site traffic, links, rankings and conversions 
  • Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders and teammates across marketing, creative, IT, product, retail, etc. 
  • Collaborate with the ASPENX marketing team to ensure that digital experience executions are aligned with channel marketing executions. 
  • Partner with our tech product owner team to implement testing and optimization plans to evaluate campaigns, including A/B testing on various channels 
  • Other duties as assigned  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required with preferred emphasis in digital marketing 
  • 5+ years of experience with digital marketing in a related field required 
  • 2+ years of experience interfacing with technology & product teams required  
  • 2+ years digital commerce (apparel, accessories, etc.) preferred 
  • High level of experience with the following technical skills: web development, web content management systems (Shopify preferred), basic HTML coding, SEO /SEM management, Google Analytics, CRM systems, etc.   
  • Experience with mobile web presentation theory and responsive design methodologies.  
  • Strong knowledge and background in PPC, social media, email, and other digital marketing campaigns.  
  • Ability to measure the ROI of marketing campaigns, and recommend re-alignment of campaigns if and as necessary.  
  • Experience managing multiple large and complex projects from initial planning stages through conception, design, execution, delivery, and ongoing support.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Supervision Given: This position has no supervisor responsibilities at this time 
Supervision Received: Reports into the Director of Marketing. Receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisor’s directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice and assistance available as needed. Work is reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins.    
Work Environment and physical demands  
Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements  
No adverse or hazardous conditions 
Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
