Summary 
The Breakfast Attendant sets up, maintains, clears and cleans up the daily breakfast areas.

Essential Job Functions
•    Set up breakfast each morning by 7:00am
•    Ensure all food stuffs are well stocked during breakfast hours: 7:00am – 10:00am
•    Clean Owners Lounge and Breakfast area throughout breakfast service
•    Bus all dirty dishes as guests leave their tables
•    Sweep and vacuum Owners Lounge during breakfast service as well as after breakfast has been taken down
•    Wipe down all tables and the breakfast buffet area during breakfast service as well as after breakfast has been taken down
•    Set up breakfast area for the day time set up
•    Clean all breakfast dishes and restock as necessary
•    Clean Room Service kitchen at the end of breakfast
•    Clean refrigerators as needed
•    Report to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the Employee Resource Guide

Additional Job Duties
•    Make Supervisor aware of guest’s comments and complaints
•    Report to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the Employee Resource Guide
•    Is familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures.  Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management.

•   Communication skills
•   Good people skills with people of all ages
•   Ability to deal with a diversity of individuals
•   Proficient in English

Supervision Given and Received
Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Received: Works under direct supervision of Front Office Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
•    Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
•    Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
•    Must be able to frequently lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
