Job Description

As an integral member of the Digital Team, the Technical Program Manager will represent the technical perspective on digital products, ensuring the best decisions are made regarding technical strategy, digital roadmap and overall direction of our application ecosystem including but not limited to our APIs and their respective application clients.
The budgeted salary midpoint for this position is $128,000. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience, all our salaried roles are eligible for bonus

Remote: Accepting remote employees based in Colorado, Idaho, California and Georgia. 

Essential Job Functions    
•    Act as product owner for backend systems, such as APIs and databases.
•    Lead contact for technical integrations that span several applications, such as Identity/SSO.
•    Play technical leadership role on team for digital applications, attending standups, performing solution and code reviews and pull requests when needed, providing technical direction that meets our company needs.
•    Work with Product Managers, Infrastructure Team to manage the deployment pipeline across several applications, timing deliveries of new builds with precision and forethought, taking into account multiple concurrent tracks of work, seasonal shifts, and business expectations. 
•    Design high level architecture for applications that can then be taken by a development team to break into lower level requirements and implement.
•    Identify risks and areas of improvement in existing digital ecosystem, communicate priority level effectively, including tradeoffs to larger digital team.
•    Design integration points using existing API applications or working with new applications as appropriate. As we go through a period of technical evolution, our integrations will be changing, and this will be a key responsibility.
•    Translate business requirements into conceptual and detailed technology solutions, collaborating with stakeholders and Product Managers across multiple departments/teams. 
•    Ensure that features and functions are truly ready to be built when handed over to development teams using a variety of proof of concept, prototyping, and test environments to vet concepts.
•    Review technical solutions to make sure they are high quality, will be able to meet the needs of the business, will be able to meet high demand and are taking into account our holistic application ecosystem.
•    Perform testing, troubleshooting, and support, from a technical lens, looking at the database, checking API responses, ensuring that there are no performance problems etc. 
•    Work with Infrastructure, Systems teams to ensure stability, scaling, and overall performance of digital ecosystem, with emphasis on back end systems and areas of ownership. 
•    Research technical solutions. Find tools to meet our needs, perform analysis, document recommendations and clearly communicate recommended solutions with a strong understanding of desired business outcomes and strategies at the forefront of the decision-making process.
•    Support and guide internal and external engineering teams that supports digital product roadmap and strategy.
•    Manage development vendors for technical applications such as APIs, by enforcing quality and architecture standards.
•    Most importantly, ensure systems are delivered with the guest and employee experience at top of mind.

Qualifications

•    5+ years in a similar role required.
•    10+ years full stack software development experience, with at least 6 years in a Microsoft stack (.NET, C#, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, vue.js) required.
•    5+ years technical project management for integration applications such as APIs required
•    5+ years leading technical decisions for projects strongly preferred
•    Experience migrating legacy systems to modern solutions a plus.
•    Experience with integrations in enterprise systems strongly preffered.
•    Experience with native mobile app development a plus
•    Experience with CRM systems a plus
•    Experience with ecommerce systems such as NopCommerce, UCommerce, Microsoft Retail and other commerce tools a plus
•    Solid knowledge of online marketing tools and best practices a plus
•    Excellent analytical and project management skills required
•    Strong team management and communication (written and verbal) skills required

Additional Information

Supervision Given and Received  
Supervision given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Supervision received: Works under general supervision of Director of Digital Technology. Receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisor’s directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice and assistance available as needed. Work is reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins.  

Work Environment and Physical Demands 
Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements. No adverse or hazardous conditions. Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
