Job Description

Assists the Sign & Graphics Manager with the design, building, installation, and maintenance of all signs at all Aspen Skiing Company Properties as well as all four ski areas.

Essential Job Functions
•    Complete construction of all signs and signage requests
•    Studies all sign requests and makes decisions accordingly
•    Determine design, size, font and layout of signs
•    Select specific types of materials used in sign construction
•    Installation of on-mountain signs (digging holes, plumbing structure, pouring concrete, and installing signs)
•    Installation of vinyl on windows and company vehicles
•    Deliver finished products and follow up with customer
•    Operate and maintain a company truck/able to drive on mountain work roads
•    Must be able to communicate effectively with people inside the Aspen Skiing Company as well as outside merchants
•    Work closely with ASC Marketing and have an in-depth understanding of internal guidelines
•    Other duties as assigned
 

Qualifications

•    Experience in Sign & Graphics field preferred
•    Must have a current, unrestricted, valid Driver’s License
•    Must be able to ski or snowboard at an advanced level and carry tools in a backpack
•    Computer experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Suite

Supervision given and received 
Supervision given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. 
Supervision received: Works under direct supervision of the Sign & Graphics Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available. 

Work environment and physical demands 
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand or be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time  
Regularly work in adverse conditions and required to use protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces 
Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
