Job Description

The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for positive guest interactions by welcoming guests, handling transactions in a friendly and efficient manner, and maintaining a clean and inviting restaurant facility. Apply here to be considered at any on-mountain location.

Essential Job Functions
•    Responsible for following designated opening/closing procedures for the restaurant, to include housekeeping functions for restaurant and restroom areas.
•    Engage with guests, offering assistance as needed to ensure their needs are met
•    Utilize a point of sale (POS) system to accurately charge guests, apply discounts
•    Alert Restaurant Manager to discrepancies with pricing or other guest concerns/comments
•    Clean and clear tables efficiently, pre-bussing items at busy times to be able to turn tables quickly
•    Ensure all food items are stocked and alert manager to items which are out of stock
•    Move tables, chairs, bus stations to facilitate housekeeping and snow removal
•    Maintain cleanliness of bus stations to include removal of trash, recycling  
•    Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand
•    Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

•    Must be over 16 years of age  
•    Prior guest service experience is preferred 
•    Prior work experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred 
•    Ability to communicate and follow oral or written directions in English is required 

Additional Information

Supervision Given and Received 
Supervision Given: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.  
Supervision Received: Works under direct supervision of Restaurant Manager. Tasks are assigned according to specific procedures, and work is checked frequently. Instruction, advice and assistance are readily available. 
 
Work Environment and Physical Demands 
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time. Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces. Must be able to continually lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance. 
 This position /certain locations will require an employee to ski or snowboard
