Job Description

Position Summary
To drive guests to and from various local locations per requests from various hotel departments.

Service Standards:
Eye contact should be made at a distance of no less than 10 feet from every guest.
A genuine smile should be offered at a distance of no less than 5 feet from every guest.
Employees should build rapport with guests during any conversation, if the guest responds to the initial statement with a conversational demeanor.
Guest last name is used effectively, but discreetly, as a signal of recognition as least once and not more than twice during any conversation with guests.
Before concluding conversations, the guest is verbally offered additional assistance with a statement relevant to the guest’s individual needs.
 

Qualifications

Essential Functions of the Job
Pick up and deliver guests to various local locations as scheduled by the Front Desk.
Handle in-house requests as schedule permits.
Coordinate direct guest requests with the Front Desk.
Maintain constant communication with Front Desk for itinerary changes.
Familiarize guests with Aspen points of interest and hotel facilities while transporting guests from airport.
Know about all daily hotel functions, locations, and times for appropriate guest direction.
Check vehicles daily for cleanliness inside and out. Clean inside of vehicles as necessary. Outside of vans to be washed daily.
Fill out vehicle maintenance checklists as directed.
Report any problems with the vehicles to the Front of House Manager.
Check daily for correct status of oil, water, brake and other essential fluids and air in tires.
Report all accidents accurately filling out incident reports immediately.
Accident reports forwarded immediately to the Front of House Manager or Manager of Duty.
Drive safely at all times.
Assist with guest requests and post at the door as needed.
When assisting with luggage handling, follow bell person/doorperson procedures for tagging baggage.
Assist Front Desk in locating lost baggage through airlines and guest services desk at airport.

Additional Job Duties
Make Manager aware of guest’s comments and complaints.
Report to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee handbook.
Report to shift on time.
Comply with all policies and procedures for the Rooms Division, Limelight Lodge, and Aspen Skiing Company.
Is familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures. Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management.
Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand.
