Short Description: NC FAST requires the services of a Curam technical architect to support the design and development of NC FAST Project 4, Child Services.

Complete Description: This position serves as a J2EE Technical Architect with Cúram certification and experience to be responsible for translating the business and functional requirements into specific system, application and process designs. Primary responsibility lies in defining the architecture to use in a large scale Cúram implementation and guide implementation in the correct use of the Cúram Framework. This position will act as the technical reference for Cúram-related design, development, testing, and deployment knowledge while providing technical input to estimate the functional scope. The Technical Architect must provide technical and architectural guidance.

Experience working in the technical architecture field.
Experience providing architecture direction/solutions for business & technical designs for large complex applications using Enterprise Java technology
Experience providing design and development estimates.
Experience customizing the Cúram Framework to meet project functional and business requirements.
Experience architecting and utilizing Object Oriented Design Patterns, and enforcing architectural standards and best practices.
Experience with HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, open source Java framework, (Struts/Springs), Ajax (JQuery, Dojo), SOA, and WebServices.
Experience with JMS, system architecture and component diagrams, development and runtime hardware and software configurations.
Ability to develop or advise for detailed architectures for correspondence and printing, workflow, integration and migration, auditing and archiving,
Ability to develop or advise for architectures for error handling and validations, MIS and reporting, rules, evidence and other Cúram-related topics.
Ability to express technical concepts clearly and effectively in verbal and written form.
Java or Architect Certification
Experience with Websphere, ESB or Message Broker, Eclipse, JIRA, Webservice, and Oracle,
