Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer for a 5 month contract.  The successful candidate will lead conducting a detailed review of the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless networks; evaluating network performance, availability, and scalability, and provide recommendations for network optimization; identifying security vulnerabilities, network inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the network infrastructure; evaluating network performance, availability, and scalability, and provide recommendations for network optimization; analyzing network policies and procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulations; collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network improvement plans.  

 

 

Qualifications

Requirements: 

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience . 

- 10+ years of experience in network engineering, security, or related fields. 

- Experience with Cisco ASR 9000’s, ASR1000’s, Cisco 4400’s,  Nexsus 7710’s , Nexus 9300’s, Catalyst 6800’s, 4500-x, 2960,

- Experience with the following wireless vendors  Cisco, Aruba and Mist.

- Experience conducting network audits and vulnerability assessments in a large enterprise environment. 

- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices. 

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. 

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. 

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment. 

- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, or CISA are a plus.
