Job Description

The Network Engineer will help in the troubleshooting of  network solutions to support the communications needs of the client.  This individual will be working with a team to support the operational needs to the organization and ensure the services to the enterprise network are not impacted.   This individual will require very strong network troubleshooting and communication skills.  The individual must be able to work under pressure and be able to prioritize demand, based on outage impact. 


 

Qualifications

A minimum of 6+ years of experience in the IT Network Engineer Field. 

A strong understanding of data communications required.   Experience with MPLS and DMVPN required. 

Proficient with Cisco (ASA, Routers, Switches, Nexus), PaloAlto Network Firewalls, F5, Blue Coat Proxy, Router protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) preferred. 

Strong communication skills, and the ability to communicate difficult concepts and the associated security challenges,  and provide solutions to mitigate them.

Consulting experience is preferred. 

Federal Government Network Security Experience a plus. 

Must be able to pass a back ground clearance investigation. 

Must have a U.S. Citizenship.

A minimum of a 4 year college degree in a related field, or related experience is required.

The position requires minimal U.S. travel (5%)
