Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Full-Time Nurse Supervisor LPN. In this critical role, you will be responsible for assisting in the administration duties of the personal care facility, supervising staff, and providing quality resident care. We offer a competitive benefits package, and a generous salary of $35/hr. Ideal candidate will have flexibility to work 8hr. shift between hours of 3PM to 11PM. This position requires availability every other weekend and holidays as required.
Essential Duties
- Assist with the selection, employment, orientation, development, evaluation, coaching and discipline of associates.
- Completes Admission and Annual Evaluations, Assessments and Support Plans in accordance with DHS regulations. Maintains accurate and detailed records, including medication administration and resident care notes.
- Efficiently coordinates the resident's care and maintains professional relationships with healthcare providers, family members and community agencies to ensure all physical, personal and emotional needs are met.
- Regularly monitors the medication cart and MAR for accuracy.
- Participate in ongoing education and training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current, valid nursing license in the state of Pennsylvania.
Licensure/Certification
- Current LPN license in good standing.
- Current CPR certification.
Experience
- Must have proven supervisory and leadership skills and be able to handle stressful situations.
- Three to five years working in geriatric, long-term or home care nursing preferred. Experience with Alzheimer's disease and other memory impairments is a plus.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of office equipment is helpful.
