Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Wellness Manager to join our team in Stroudsburg, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the wellness program for our residents. Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Lead, train, and supervise the wellness team to ensure high-quality resident care, including proper medication management and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Develop and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and support for residents at all times.
  • Monitor and evaluate staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement ongoing training programs to maintain and improve service quality.
  • Oversee resident wellness initiatives, assist with direct care when necessary, and ensure all programs align with the community's vision and standards.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in handling various tasks and responsibilities as they arise within the scope of the position.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Physical ability to lift, turn, move, and position residents (up to 30 pounds) and transport them using various equipment
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with potential exposure to infectious materials (proper safety equipment provided)
  • 2-5 years of clinical or recreational experience in geriatric care preferred
  • Relevant degree or certification in healthcare or gerontology preferred
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of employment)
  • Train the Trainer status (or willingness to obtain) with at least 2 years of Med Tech experience
  • Strong commitment to resident care, excellent communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Capability to maintain composure under pressure and contribute to a positive atmosphere
