The Role 

We are looking to recruit an operations administrator to support the operations and warehouse function at our site in Horndean.This person is a key role in supporting and managing all warehouse and transport administration. This will involve looking after administration duties for export goods in/out as well as manage stock transfers between depots and liaise with the stock controller in Chiswick to ensure we are holding the correct volume of stock.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Administration of Export goods in/out. 
  • Processing customer collections and couriers.
  • Hold driver debriefs upon their return and collate all date for any discrepancies. 
  • Report the customer failures from the previous day, incorporating the existing Transport Report.  This includes all stock shortages to customers, returns, uplifts, ullage and breakages.  They will also include actions taken and defects.
  • Report on all picking issues found at the point of pick from the previous night.
  • Daily stock reconciliation and regular cycle counts. 
  • Assist in processing despatch paperwork for all 3rd party deliveries.
  • Assist Warehouse personnel with all stock-based queries.
  • Process returned ullage by completing the ullage form generated by Customer Services, 
  • Assist in the general administration for quality checks and reporting for all stock processes that are current in the warehouse operation.
  • Carry out error collation for stock adjustments KPIs, highlighting offenders to Warehouse Team Leaders and Managers.
  • Highlight and correct any stock issues in the warehouse ensuring all SKUs are in the correct location

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Computer literate with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management System experience. 
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with Management, Drivers and other departments both on the telephone and face-to-face. 
  • Experience of working in a Customer Services / Sales Support environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and an ability to react quickly to requests and issues as they arise.
