Position: SDET Architect with Mainframe 

Location: Wilmington, DE

Duration: Contract

Mandatory Skills: Java, Automation, Selenium, Cucumber,Mainframe

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in Java.
• 6+ years of experience using SDET with Java and Selenium or TOSCA
• Solid understanding of test-driven development (TDD), BDD, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Rest Assured, Postman, or Karate.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and Automation background is must, get SDET with Java and Selenium or TOSCA will be decided later.
• Cards functional knowledge is important.
• Need to understand UAT test cases, execute them manually and then automate.
• Selenium or Tosca knowledge and Java is a must.
• Create readable, maintainable, and reusable test scripts aligned with acceptance criteria.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior QA automation engineers.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to identify test scenarios early in the development cycle.
• Conduct root cause analysis on test failures and raise relevant defects with sufficient documentation.
• Define and track quality metrics, test coverage, and automation progress.
• Stay current with industry trends and advocate for continuous improvement in automation processes.
