ARTERNAL CRM is a verticalized cloud-based SaaS software catering to art dealers and gallery staff. We have created a sales and marketing process to power transactions that were previously non-existent. Our aim is to support the largest number of buyers and sellers globally. With Arternal, galleries leverage data to turn their relationships into revenue.

ARTERNAL CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is an up-and-coming player in the technology of the contemporary art scene! We’re looking for someone with experience in systems design and scaling up a web platform. On this team, you’ll have tremendous impact on the product. You will be building out core features of the product and implementing future projects on the roadmap.

As a fresh startup, we are using all the latest technologies and tools available, so we are not looking for a specific skill set with x years of experience. We are seeking an intelligent individual willing to work hard, learn and help us get things done. We are looking for someone who understands startups and wants to be part of small but fast growing company. A strong understanding of shell scripting, cloud infrastructure, nodejs and security is important.

Responsibilities:

Short-term: Familiarize with our tech stack

• Get familiar with our current tech stack and implement new features in the backend.

• Analyze current performance, discover bottlenecks and help improve server performance

• Set up web server monitoring

Long term: Help streamline our infrastructure with continuous integration

• Implement continuous integration for our test and production environments

• Analyze our current infrastructure and suggest improvements to make deployment safer and more efficient.

• Lead the backend engineering team.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of relational database concepts (Postgres in particular)

• Understanding of Docker and containerization

• Experience with AWS

• Experience with continuous integration and testing

• In depth knowledge of NodeJS v.9

• Functional programming concepts

Bonus:

• Experience with frontend javascript libraries. Eg. Angular, React, Vue.

• Graphql

• Machine learning concepts

• Kubernetes and scaling containers
