• Maintain and complete accurate records.

• Operate microtome, embed centers, and tissue processors.

• Ability to perform automated hematoxylin and eosin staining. Must stay within GLP compliance at all times.

• Qualifications: Must be experienced in preparing paraffin tissue specimens. American Society for Clinical Pathology (Histology Technician) certification desirable.

• Must be familiar with general safety procedure and guidelines.

• Must be self motivated and have a strong attention to detail. Good communication skills required.
