Project Manager to be responsible for documenting project plans, updating project management reporting tools and monitoring that projects are tracking schedule and budget.

Overall Summary:

The Project Manager should demonstrate a thorough understanding of project management and have strong business acumen which together will drive sound business decisions. This position demands excellent integration skills and a strong understanding of the medical device and/or pharmaceuticals product development processes. The Project Manager will monitor and report on project performance and, as appropriate, provide feedback.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Work with cross-functional teams on various projects and Quality initiatives

Provide comprehensive planning and tracking support for Project Team using Project Management tools, software and spreadsheets

Integrate program specific requirements into the resource planning models and financial systems

Monitor Project Team activities against Project Plan to identify deviations from planned timing, budget or scope

Use appropriate communication tools to ensure that all project customers are informed of project status

Serve as Project Team secretariat preparing issue-driven agendas, minutes, and action lists for team meetings

Assure that project support activities of functional teams are aligned with the product development plan

Work with Finance and other functions as needed to execute projects effectively, efficiently and timely

Skills:

Bachelors or Master s Degree in technical field, business or finance

Prior Project Management experience

2 years with knowledge and experience with the medical device and/or pharmaceutical preferred

Business understanding and experience, e.g. business planning, marketing, finance

Multidisciplinary background by education or experience

Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and negotiation skills

Ability to work with and influence individuals and teams at all levels of the organization; including senior management

Proven self-starter and motivator

PMP Certification

MBA (not preferred)
