Additional Job Details: 

Basic qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience in development, maintenance, and enhancement of Informatica Mappings, Workflows, and other processes using Informatica Powercenter 9.1 

• Developed efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems 

• Experience in data warehouse systems and its related implementations using Informatica 

• Must have experience in writing complex SQL queries and understanding PL/SQL Programs in Oracle 11g and/or 12g DB 

• Experience in performance tuning of poorly performing data loads/ ETLs 

• Worked with files containing a million plus records 

• Worked with the following sources/targets: Oracle tables, views, queries, flat files, and COBOL files 

• Experience in resolving project/production problems and on call support 

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills 

• Ability to work independently once guidance and goals are provided 

• Developed original and/or complex code and provided coding guidance to less experienced staff 

• Verified program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Participated in overall systems testing 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; works well in a team environment 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience using Informatica Powercenter 9.1 (or greater) and Oracle SQL 

• Experience with UNIX shell scripting and Autosys is a must 

• Experience in performance tuning of slowly running data loads/ ETLs is a must 

• Worked with files containing over a million records is a must 

• Worked with the following sources/targets: Oracle tables, views, queries, flat files, and COBOL files is a must 

• Track record of 2+ full project lifecycle and development, as well as post-implementation support activities 

• Excellent writing and documentation skills 

Preferred skills: 

• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, defect tracking (including tools) 

• Previous exposure to Accounting / Financial applications 

• Experience with NDM 

• Knowledge of Informatica related software installation 

• Technical certifications and advanced degrees are a plus, but not a requirement
