The Liferay Portal Architect is responsible for the full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of software architecture solutions.
The individual provides overall direction, life cycle management and leadership for all Liferay components. Working closely with the Enterprise/Solution Architect the individual performs a lead role in the identification, analysis, evaluation and recommendation of technologies required for implementing Liferay Portal Solutions.

* Should experience with architecting and implementing Liferay Portal.
* Extensive exposure of Inter-Portlet Communication (IPC) implementations
* Strong experience with Spring MVC and Liferay MVC
* Good working knowledge of Enterprise Portal Content, System, User Administrations and Portal customizations.
* Very good understanding of integration with content management tools.
* Extensive exposure on portal security configurations & SAML integrations.
* Hands on experience on portlets and Liferay web services implementation
* Excellent knowledge of Java & J2EE Technologies (Servlets, JSP, EJBs) and Web technologies (HTML, CSS and JAVA SCRIPT).
* Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities
