Position Insight:

· This positions will be located in Southern California Pharmacy Automated Warehouse (Downey).

· This position will support a fast pace 24x7 automated prescription fulfillment environment.

· The focus of this position will be to provide production and project support which will require both technical skills and project management skills to manage not only the technical aspects of the application, but the business/client facing aspects as well. This role requires the ability to play a Sr role in projects, client relationships, vendor relationships, and production support.

· Role will be business/client facing to define requirements, coordinate system enhancements, support software releases.

· Technical skills required (for 2nd level support purposes – not development level work).

· Linux, Oracle, Wintel environments

· This position will not perform any major development type work

Job Description:

· Exceptional application analysis and design skills, as well as thorough trouble-shooting capabilities.

· Responsible for heavy UNIX shell script programming using both 'C' and Korn shell.

· Create UNIX-based facilities that are fault tolerant, step restartable, and reusable.

· Set-up Connect Direct, XCOM and FTP file transfer processes between different platforms.

· Understand the requirements and procedures for establishing both dedicated and Internet-based frame relay connections via TCP/IP.

· Coordinating the efforts of inter-disciplinary groups.

· Use AutoSys for complex scheduling.

Experience Level: 6-10 Years.

Skill Set:

· Unix, Batch processing, FTP. Knowledge of internals, (i.e. SAP adapter, SAP R/3 transactions related to batch processing).

· Security and control concepts.

· AWK and SED.

· Ad-hoc reporting from AutoSys databases.

· SQL.

· Mainframe dataset allocation and security (with ACF2).

Responsibilities will also include:

· Compliance investigations (research into logfiles, or data as needed).

· Minor Reports development (Oracle SQL)

· QA Testing of vendor supplied application changes

· Software release support – Manage vendor releases into non-production, testing, and production.

· On-Call Production Support.

· Business/Client liaison – document business requirements, translate to technical requirements for vendor development.
