Job Description:

Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Charlotte NC
Duration: 12 Months

Looking for only local to charlotte and W2 candidates.

Description/Primary Duties:

• Maintain device inventory in the current environment
• Track Vulnerabilities for product(s) and report weekly on status
• Create metrics for tracking of inventory and product vulnerabilities
• Support of lab environment (reimaging, configuration, network connection, etc.)
• Create documentation in support of product test/certification and process flow
• Maintain files and documents internal to the team
• Support engineers when and where needed to help them meet their goals
• Occasional after-hours support (monitoring migrations, system updates, deployments, etc.)

Required Skills:

• Exposure to Cisco Access Control Systems and/or Identity Service Engines -- or other AAA solution (strongly preferred)
• Understanding of basic networking concepts (critical)
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience
• Superior customer service
• Able to follow directions and ask questions
• Must be able to grasp new technologies quickly
• Linux and Windows skills
• Exposure to Slunk or similar logging tools (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience with Shell Scripting or other development language (preferred)
