Job Description

You will be responsible for supporting the sales team in Webex (No.1 reseller in Japan) and Cloud Calling opportunities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be the technical pre-sales lead on opportunities
  • Close new businesses as well as support the sale of new services to the existing base clients
  • Presenting to customers and leading customer workshops
  • Be a key part of the team driving the commercial offer to the customers
  • Work with the product team in APAC to ensure that the right information is provided to the local sales team
  • Increase the penetration of new products such as Webex, Webex Calling, Video and Professional Services
  • Liaise efficiently with other departments (Sales, Products, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Finance), internally within the NTT Group (NTT Japan and NTT LTD Division overseas), and third parties (Cisco WebEx, and other local partners)

Qualifications

  • Excellent communications skills (Written for RFP and PowerPoint presentations and Oral for face-to-face meetings with clients)
  • Experience with Cisco Webex and familiarity with Webex Control hub. And/or experience with Cisco on-premises and HCS Unified Communications Manager PBX systems
  • Familiarity with Cisco routers, switches and Cisco IOS
  • Network topology knowledge including MPLS, SDWAN, DMZs, and Internet
  • Network technology knowledge such as IP Addressing, DNS, SRV Records, Routing Protocols, QoS, Ethernet.
  • PSTN Connection Carrier technologies including ISDN T1 plus E1 and SIP
  • Main protocols for data, voice and video traffic (HTTP/HTTPS, RTP, SIP, H323, G711/729/722, and OPUS)
  • Excellent communications skills (Written for RFP and PowerPoint presentations and Oral for face-to-face meetings with clients)
  • Good understanding of Web services technologies
  • Conferencing experience is beneficial
  • Previous B2B technical pre-sales experience is essential with a strong commercial awareness
  • Demonstration of teamwork ethics and individual success
  • Bilingual in Japanese and English (native Japanese skill set required)
