Job Description

What You’ll Do

Arista is seeking a dedicated and passionate Inventory Control Manager to execute site-wide responsibilities at our San Jose-based Direct Fulfillment operation site. This role demands strong analytical capabilities and extensive knowledge of inventory management within the high-tech hardware industry.

As the Inventory Control Manager, you will lead end-to-end consigned inventory control activities at Arista’s contract DF site. You will ensure inventory accuracy, support on-time fulfillment operations, and maintain strict alignment with financial and corporate policies. This position is ideal for a strategic, data-driven problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at cross-functional collaboration to deliver impactful results.

  • Strategic Execution: Collaborate with Arista’s DF contract manufacturers to drive site-wide inventory control execution and ensure seamless fulfillment continuity.

  • Daily Operations & Reporting: Monitor and guide daily DF Inventory Control activities, track dual systems reconciliation, cycle count progress, auditing, and reporting.

  • Reconciliation & Compliance: Oversee complex inventory transaction reconciliation, coordinating closely with corporate finance to ensure complete financial compliance.

  • Inventory Audit Leadership: Lead comprehensive inventory audits and physical validations to maintain optimal accuracy and accountability.

  • Continuous Improvement: Initiate, lead, and drive efficiency improvements across DF Inventory Control operations. Prioritize operational excellence by continuously refining processes to maximize cycle count accuracy, ensure on-time receiving, enforce FIFO protocols, and efficiently resolve MRB and aging inventory.

  • Site Partnership: Partner directly with the DF Site Operations Manager to streamline daily operations and resolve escalations quickly.

  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate internally with Arista’s Planning, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Engineering teams to achieve core corporate initiatives and hit key financial metrics.

Qualifications

 

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, or Contract Manufacturer operations within the high-tech industry.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Industry Knowledge: Deep expertise in inventory control best practices and data-driven supply chain efficiency

  • Contract Manufacturing Experience: Proven experience working within global supply chains and managing contract manufacturers (EMS).

  • Work Style: A highly adaptable self-starter with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Analytical Skills: Solid analytical foundation with a track record of solving complex operational problems.

  • Leadership: Exceptional ability to influence, motivate, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Certifications: APICS / CPIM / CSCP certification is highly preferred.

 

Compensation Information

The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $109,000 to $141,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and US location. The salary range provided reflects the base salary and in addition may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses, commissions, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, wellbeing, tax savings and income protection.
