Job Description

We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Contracts Engineer to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers in our Regional Office in New Cairo, Egypt.

What you will need to do:

  • Monitor, supervise, and ensure compliance with construction and related project contracts, advising the Project Manager accordingly.
  • Prepare and manage all contractual correspondence and legal documents related to project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations towards the Client and report any issues to the Project Manager and/or Regional Contracts Manager.
  • Identify contractual and legal matters arising at project level and escalate when required.
  • Review and highlight any deviations from standard contract forms, agreements, or templates.
  • Prepare contracts and legal documents with third parties based on standard templates in coordination with the Regional Contracts Manager.
  • Review subcontractors’ and suppliers’ proposals, bids, and contract modifications from a contractual perspective.
  • Analyze and manage contractual conflicts between the company, Client, and third parties, and propose solutions.
  • Prepare and/or review minutes of meetings with Clients and JV/Consortium partners.
  • Maintain proper contractual records and documentation, including correspondence and claims.
  • Support in handling disputes, litigation, arbitration, and extrajudicial settlements in coordination with Project Controls and regional teams.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

 

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Contracts (mandatory).
  • Master’s degree in engineering or Contracts will be considered an advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction projects within contracts administration or project controls.
  • Solid understanding of contract management, claims, and legal aspects of construction projects.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
