We are growing and currently looking for a Civil Marine / Coastal Engineer to join our Engineering team in Athens. As part of our team, you will support engineering activities throughout the entire lifecycle of international Marine, Infrastructure, and Industrial projects, from Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and tender design through detailed engineering and construction support.
Job Description
- Design and review marine infrastructure projects, including ports, marinas, breakwaters and revetments, quay walls and piled structures, seawater intake and outfall systems, underwater pipelines with scour protection systems.
- Perform engineering analyses and design calculations related to marine and coastal structures including metocean, wave, hydrodynamic, mooring, and port layout studies with specialized software (e.g. DHI MIKE, Optimoor).
- Prepare technical reports, design calculations, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop integrated and constructible engineering solutions.
- Review engineering deliverables prepared by external consultants and subcontractors.
- Contribute to value engineering and design optimization initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of technical presentations, engineering scopes, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, international codes and standards, and quality management procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university, with emphasis on coastal engineering – marine structures.
- Master's degree in Coastal/Marine Engineering.
- 3 – 7 years of Engineering experience, designing works related to Marine/Coastal Engineering.
- Familiarity with international design codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
