We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a Mechanical Technical Office Engineer to join a top qualified and knowledgeable team of Engineers to support international projects from our office in Cairo, Egypt

Role Summary:
You will perform cost estimation and tender evaluation study for new tender projects, in addition to assisting and supporting of currently awarded projects.
What you will need to do:
- Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ and coordinate with procurement and nominated vendors.
- Review and check all mechanical drawing and cross check it with related civil drawings to identify and order the embedded items.
- Quantity surveying for all mechanical equipment and materials, HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems.
- Prepares estimates of projects or parts of projects for a specific discipline based on the available documents
- Prepare purchases requisitions required during tender stage and for awarded projects based on design project requirements and quantities take off for all mechanical materials, systems, and equipment.
- Prepares and checks the Bills of Quantity for HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems as required.
- Performs any other related duties as assigned
What you will need to have:
- Four (4) – six (6) years of experience in tender estimation and technical evaluation study for high grade projects and buildings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience in tender estimation and technical evaluation for different mechanical systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting and Plumbing) with a well distinguished contractor is essential.
- Previous working experience in projects with Applied American Standards ASHREA / SMACNA / NEC / IEEE / NFPA / ASME / API to projects is essential.
- Strong knowledge in Microsoft office applications and also AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge and awareness with the local market.
- Team worker, cope with pressure, to-do mindset.
